Aviation History Month

As Michael Collins, the astronaut who flew the 1969 Apollo 11 mission with Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, once said: “it’s human nature to stretch, to go, to see, to understand. Exploration is not a choice, really; it’s an imperative”. What a way not only to explain Man’s pursuit of flight, but also Aviation History Month as a whole. This November, we celebrate the many men and women who challenge the saying “the sky is the limit”. So, as we continue to commemorate the achievements and contributions of the past and present of aviation, we embody the daring spirit of the pioneers and boldly dream of the “impossible”.
