Central Art: Curtis L. Todd’s “Portals, Passages, and Pathways” Digital Photography Exhibit

In honor of World Photography Day, Curtis L. Todd's "Portals, Passages, and Pathways" digital photography exhibit will be available for public viewing on the lower-level Alcove monitors throughout the month of August.

Curtis L. Todd is a street photographer who also enjoys lensing nature and architectural subjects. His education and training as a social scientist have uniquely positioned him to identify and capture dynamic images that solicit public discourse about human ecosystems and our shared experiences.

When not interrogating urban, community, and woodland environments with his camera, Todd is a Professor in the School of Arts and Sciences at Atlanta Metropolitan State College. He is also a writer and practitioner of narrative and civic poetry. Ultimately, Todd is an artistic explorer and storyteller who leverages images and words to engage and inspire people to take a closer look at their communal and private spaces.

These selected photographs are part of a larger evolving Portals, Passages, and Pathways project which suggests magical realism in familiar settings that we encounter daily while navigating the known world. He continues to sharpen his photographic skills, creativity, and innovations through formal classes and mentoring from established photographers in the Atlanta area.
