About Kenneth:

My inspiration for my art comes my appreciation for African Americans and Africans abroad. I like movement and draw athletes and musicians I also work symbols from Africa, especially Adinkra symbols from Ghana W Africa. I take pride in working with recycled textiles and repurposing and embellishing notebooks and containers. My textile Art is a nod to quilters.

The gourds I paint are from Ghana W.Africa and I adorn them with acrylic paint.

Life is ever evolving and so is my art. For me , anything that’s a blank slate is an opportunity to create some beauty.”
