Our Central Author Talks series continues this month with an exciting panel discussion with four mystery authors! Join us on Thursday, March 11 at 7pm for Truth and Lies: A Mystery Panel Discussion.
This month we will speak with four mystery writers, all from Level Best Books, and all who had February releases. When they got together to begin their virtual tour they realized they have something else in common. Not only do their characters lie – they have to - the writers lie, too. But all of their books come from a bit of truth. Today the four authors dish on their lies – and their truths.
Meet Mally Becker (The Turncoat's Widow), Liz Milliron (The Stories We Tell), Kerry Peresta (The Deadening) and C.L. Tolbert (The Redemption). Each writer writes in the mystery genre, but each has her own style and interest within the genre; like reading court procedurals? We got you covered. How about a little historical fiction with your mystery? Check. We even have a little psychological suspense to spice things up. There's something for everyone and the discussion of the books will be fun, engaging, and will give you some new ideas to add to your what to read next list. Sign up to attend through Eventbrite now, and join us live on Zoom to ask your own questions to the authors!
In the meantime, here's a list of mystery books to check out at the library!
