FCLS Library Staff shares what they've been reading lately!
The Memory Police, by Yko Ogawa
By Ginny Collier, Collection Manager
The Memory Police by Yko Ogawa is really good. It's about an island where things periodically disappear as do people's memories of those things. At first it's small things like hats and perfume. Then it's larger things and with that comes the Memory Police who arrest anyone that remembers the objects that have disappeared. I finished the book last week and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since then.
Life Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA, by Amaryllis Fox
Melissa Jurgens, Library Assistant
I just finished Life Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA by Amaryllis Fox. I found it fascinating, and quite a testament to the caliber and dedication of the men and women who work for our intelligence services.
Little Fires Everywhere, by Celeste Ng
Julia Padgett, Librarian Principal
Little Fires Everywhere is a gorgeous read that took me too long to get around to reading - happy I finally did!
