FCLS Library Staff shares what they've been reading lately!
Revenger, by Alastair Reynolds
By Carolyn Bean, Librarian
I just finished Revenger, by Alastair Reynolds. If you like Becky Chambers (The Wayfarers series), Martha Wells (The Murderbot Diaries) and are in the mood for a bleaker version of Firefly, have a look at this first book in a series about space, pirates, and (you guessed it!) revenge. I read it in one night!
The Ten Thousand Doors of January, by Alix Harrow
By Melissa Jurgens, Library Assistant
I just gobbled up The Ten Thousand Doors of January, by Alix Harrow in one day. Has a similar feel to The Starless Sea, but faster paced. Really enjoyed it!

The Almost Sisters, by Joshilyn Jackson
By Vicky LaJesse, Youth Services Librarian/Senior Librarian
Read an older Joshilyn Jackson - The Almost Sisters - very good southern family story with some very beautiful family and racial reconciliation elements.
