Just in time for Spring planting, the Adamsville-Collier Heights Library introduces the Seed Library. This program promotes and supports community members by offering herbs, flower, and vegetable seeds. Sustainability, self-sufficiency, and food security are growing issues in communities across Metro Atlanta. It is the goal of the library to educate our community on the rewards of gardening, seed saving, and sharing.
A learning experience for individuals and families to watch their labor turn into a harvest. The Seed Library is open to the public regardless of whether they have a library card. Seed packets are free. To ensure we can share with all our neighbors, the Seed Library is limited to 8-10 seed packets per person per growing season. The Seed Library will grow as you donate seeds that you plant or harvest. For more information and resources please contact Teneka.Williams@fultoncountyga.gov.
