  1. Houston – Texas. Though Galveston was the site where Juneteenth history was made, it is nearby Houston, America's fourth most populous city, where one will find the most devout Juneteenth celebrants.
  2. Atlanta – Georgia
  3. Dallas-Forth Worth – Texas
  4. Charleston – South Carolina
  5. Memphis – Tennessee
