Central – GED & Testing Preparation

To register for the GED®, go to www.ged.com or call 1-877-EXAM-GED (392-6433). Test dates are ongoing and can be accessed by logging into the registration site. If you have problems with the online registration or if you don’t have access to a computer; then call 1-877-EXAM-GED and PearsonVue will help you with the registration process.

The GED Test has four parts, and the cost of each part is $40, for a total of $160 to complete the full exam. Students must pass all four parts of the exam to earn a GED credential.

GED Classes:

GED Classes are offered at the Central Library branch through a partnership with the Atlanta Public Schools System (APS) Adult Education Program.  A valid state ID is needed for placement.  Please call for the days when new students may come for class placement and to find information about the days and times of classes and new student class registration requirements.  Call the GED Information Line at 404-802-3560.
