Fulton County Library Users need not pay for an individual Ancestry account - GALILEO provides these tools for genealogy research with no fees for users. This resource was available for home users during the pandemic, but the vendor now requires users to be at a library location for use. 

Note: The Ancestry mobile app does not work with Ancestry Library Edition.

Fold3 Library Edition is a database for public military records. Use the tools to search different conflicts, time periods, and demographics. Fold3 Library Edition is valuable for genealogy research and free for library card holders.

GALILEO is a research and learning platform offered by the University of Georgia and available to all students in our state. GALILEO hosts many online research and study databases and collections of digital materials helpful in many different areas. Knowing how to use GALILEO to retrieve information for assignments is considered a core skill for college and university students, as so High School students are encouraged to use this resource as much as possible to prepare themselves higher education class work.
